Experteer OverviewAs Purchasing Manager, you will oversee the procurement for the brand-new Rosewood Rome preopening and ongoing hotel operations. You will ensure timely supply of goods, optimal stock levels, and cost‐effective purchasing through competitive bidding and market benchmarking. You will lead vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with multiple departments to support a successful opening and smooth post‐opening running. This role places you at the heart of our supply chain, shaping quality, value, and service for a luxury guest experience.Retribuzione / BenefitsEnsure on‐time supplies and goods for all hotel needsMaintain stock levels per Min/Max and review annuallyAnalyze consumption and adjust Min/Max levelsMaintain comprehensive supplier data (channels, pricing,



availability)Negotiate annual contracts for bulk F&B; and general suppliesConduct competitive bidding for high‐volume/high‐cost purchases (min3 bidders)Identify minimum 3 suppliers for engineering spare partsLead monthly meetings with MD/DFBP/AP/HODs and prepare minutesConduct market surveys and reference with Cost Controller and Chef for purchasing decisionsCompare market price lists; prepare price variances for reviewProcure best quality at best price; coordinate with sister hotelsTrain department staff per training needs and performance appraisalsAdhere to company policies and budget limits; develop/update division policiesAssist with procurement‐related tasks beyond stated scopeDevelop and update divisional policies for consistencyResponsabilitàUniversity graduateGood communication skills; ability to plan5 years of experience in an international‐class hotelExperience in materials controls is desiredProficient in English; excellent ItalianInitiative and commitment to professional valuesAbility to work with cross‐functional teamsKnowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
