Welcome to SSC Space (formerly Swedish Space Corporation), a workplace for those passionate about technology and space. With customers from space organizations, research institutes, institutional and commercial actors, we provide specialist expertise in satellite communications, space consulting services, rocket and balloon systems, flight test services, satellite propulsion systems, and more. We also host one of the world's largest ground station networks and own the Esrange Space Center in Kiruna, Sweden, with plans to launch satellites in the near future.
Requirements Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable degree
Professional experience of at least ten years in Ground Segment (G/S) engineering projects for space systems, including Phase C/D
Professional experience of at least five years in definition and design of S/S for EO systems for institutional and/or commercial customers
Experience in defining, managing and tracing the requirements structure,



supported by DOORS
STK, Python, MATLAB)
Sound knowledge of ground system engineering processes, and ground system and software life cycles
Ability to devise creative solutions and think outside the box
Proven heritage and attitude for problem solving and project team management
Fluency in spoken and written Business English; Italian skills are desirable
Define and control S/S technical interfaces, internal and external
Define and control system technical budget and margins
Technical management of Mission Planning, Flight Dynamics, Satellite Control Center, Ground Stations, User Ground Segment
Competence in communication network protocols, data transfer methods, cloud‐based systems
