We are looking for a Safety Software Architect to contribute to platform development activities, focusing on safety architecture definition, deployment, and compliance. You will work within Agile SAFe teams, contributing to Program Increment (PI) deliveries and supporting multiple automotive projects (zone controllers,



body controllers, ADAS platforms). This role is well suited for freelancers or independent consultants looking to work on complex automotive embedded projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Define and maintain Software Architecture aligned with system-level design
- Ensure compliance with: ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity)
- Design and manage: SW architecture allocation and resource optimization at microcontroller level
- Define and align SWA concepts across teams
- Architect integration of: Safety mechanisms and AUTOSAR BSW safety modules
- Lead architecture reviews and ensure consistency with standards
- Contribute to: ASPICE assessments and FSM / FML reviews
- Support deployment and integration of safety concepts into projects
- Define and own architecture deliverables: SAD, SRS, HSI
