NewSpace Technical is proud to be partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing space company to appoint an exceptional Head of Electronics Unit.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced electronics leader to shape the technical direction of a high-performing engineering team developing cutting-edge electronic systems for next-generation space missions. If you're passionate about leading talented engineers, influencing technical strategy, and delivering hardware that will operate in some of the most demanding environments imaginable, we'd love to hear from you.
As Head of Electronics, you'll lead the design, development and delivery of advanced space-qualified electronic systems across a diverse portfolio of programmes.
You'll combine strategic leadership with technical excellence, overseeing the Electronics Unit while working closely with Systems Engineering, Software,



Mechanical, AIT, Quality and Operations teams to ensure successful project delivery from concept through to launch.
This role offers the opportunity to influence engineering standards, mentor and develop a talented team, and play a key role in the continued growth of an ambitious organisation at the forefront of the European space industry.
Defining the technical roadmap and architecture for onboard electronic systems, including power, data handling, control and payload electronics.
Leading, mentoring and developing a multidisciplinary electronics engineering team.
Managing engineering resources and priorities across multiple programmes to ensure successful project delivery.
Overseeing the design, verification and qualification of space-grade electronic hardware.
Driving technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement across the Electronics Unit.
