Overview As a Software Engineer in the Core Team, you help build and maintain the backbone of Satispay's payment platform. You will contribute to high-quality, scalable, and secure backend services used by multiple product teams. You will work on core domains like the Transaction Ledger, IAM, and Payment Orchestration, and you'll implement risk, banking integrations, and fraud-detection logic. Develop and optimize services for bank integrations, credit risk, and real-time fraud detection
Contribute to technical analysis, design discussions, and high-quality documentation (Smart Papers)
Ensure engineering quality through clean code, testing strategies, and safe rollouts
Collaborate with senior engineers and juniors to raise technical and architectural skills
Leverage AI tools to write/optimize code,



speed up root cause analysis, and generate documentation
Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer building scalable microservices in fast-paced contexts
Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot
Solid understanding of distributed systems and familiarity with banking APIs integration
Good exposure to cloud environments (AWS) and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
Reliability mindset with focus on system health, data integrity, and clear business logic
Fluency in English and passion for FinTech
