Experteer Overview As a Backend Engineer on the Lara API team, you design and ship API-powered microservices for an AI-driven translation platform. You will own features end-to-end, from design to production, and work with MySQL, Redis, and external AI translation services. You’ll collaborate across engineering and product to evolve a scalable AWS-based microservices architecture. This role offers meaningful impact by shaping how developers and businesses translate content at scale. You’ll join a growth-focused, collaborative environment that values practical code and ownership.Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend microservices powering the Lara API
- Own features end-to-end from design to production
- Work with MySQL and Redis
- Integrate with external translation and AI services
- Participate in code reviews and provide/receive feedback
- Write tests and maintain code quality




- Collaborate with engineering and product teams
- Write usable technical documentation

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of backend software development experience
- Proficiency in Node.Js with TypeScript
- SQL knowledge with MySQL
- REST API design and server-side architecture
- Docker and containerized environments
- Git and GitHub-based workflows
- Owner mindset and proactive knowledge acquisition
- Excellent communication skills
