In this role you support FAO's Fisheries Operations and Technology work by applying specialized expertise to improve fishing operations, vessel design, gear technology, and related infrastructure. You will contribute to project formulation, coordination, and implementation across national and regional levels, aligning with FAO's strategic framework and the Blue Transformation priority. You will work with diverse partners to advance sustainable fisheries, reduce pollution, and enhance the capacity of fishing communities. This is a mission-driven opportunity to influence policy, technology, and finance in support of resilient agri-food systems. REBYC III Provide technical inputs, including studies, manuals, and knowledge products related to NFIFP domains Collect, manage, and analyze data to inform technical and policy work Engage in outreach and dissemination activities Carry out external event organization (field missions, training, capacity building) in support of NFIFP Collaborate with FAO divisions, UN agencies, IGOs, NGOs and external partners Contribute to resource mobilization, monitoring of program expenses, and international meetings Assist beneficiary countries with policy and legislative revisions related to responsible fisheries guidelines Represent NFIFP in internal and external meetings and organize consultations Support implementation of relevant projects and communicate NFIFP activities Responsabilità COF. xrdztoy REG: advanced degree in relevant fields; or bachelor with additional years of experience PSAs: university degree
