Job Description Manager, Regional Sales – Private Sector (South) Location: Rome (preferred)

Our mission is to safeguard people, devices and data everywhere. We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support the continued expansion of our private sector business across the Southern region. The role will lead a team of Regional Account Managers, driving growth across private sector organisations and strengthening Fortinet’s presence in the Southern region.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Regional Account Managers
Build and execute strategic territory plans to expand Fortinet’s presence across private sector accounts in the South
Establish and strengthen executive-level relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners
Support the team in negotiating commercial terms that drive long-term customer partnerships




Drive new business development while ensuring strong expansion within existing private sector accounts
Manage reseller and partner relationships in alignment with Fortinet’s channel programmes, ensuring effective enablement and collaboration
Build revenue and non-revenue business plans with partners, including MDF strategy, account penetration and profitability targets
Collaborate closely with SE teams, consulting teams, marketing, engineering and regional leadership to drive growth
Extensive experience selling technology solutions to enterprise or private sector customers
Proven success managing and developing high-performing sales teams
Experience closing complex private sector deals
Background in network security, including one or more of the following: Firewall and VPN, Antivirus, IDS or IDP
Excellent presentation, communication and executive-engagement skills
Strong business acumen, leadership capability and the ability to mentor and motivate teams
