Job Purpose / Overview We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Grocery Sales Representative to join our Pet Nutrition & Food Field Sales team in the north of Italy (Lazio). Key Responsibilities Territory Coverage: Conduct regular visits to grocery stores and retail outlets within your assigned territory, ensuring optimal coverage in line with guidelines and fostering strong relationships with store personnel. Range Compliance: Ensure that the product assortment available at each point of sale meets Mars' standards, implementing corrective actions for missing SKUs and maintaining agreed assortment and portfolio priorities. Reduction of Out of Stock (OOS): Monitor stock levels for each SKU, implementing strategies to minimize out-of-stocks and adjusting shelf layouts to optimize product placement. Perfect Store Compliance:



Continuously improve Perfect Store execution by enhancing the shopping experience through effective merchandising and promotional execution. Execution of Promotional Plans: Collaborate with retailers to implement promotional activities, negotiating optimal space and quality for displays in line with agreed activations. Competitive Intelligence: Gather and analyze competitive information to identify market trends and opportunities, providing insights to inform strategic decisions. Skills and Competencies Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the FMCG sector. Strong understanding of the grocery retail landscape and consumer behavior. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
