Working Pattern Permanent | Full Time | Flexible - First options available Role As a Senior Project Engineer , you will manage a portfolio of renewable projects in Italy, leading engineering activities from early‐stage development through construction, commissioning and operational handover. You will play a key role in delivering onshore renewable projects that contribute to Italy's energy transition and support SSE Renewables' growth across Southern Europe. This senior role requires you to shape engineering strategy, influence major investment decisions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high‐quality and cost‐effective renewable energy infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership across all engineering disciplines, ensuring projects are designed and delivered to the highest standards of safety, performance and reliability. While the primary focus will be on onshore wind,



you will also provide technical support and expertise across wider renewable technologies including solar PV and battery energy storage where required. Responsibilities Lead the engineering delivery of utility‐scale onshore wind projects across Italy from development through commissioning and operational handover, acting as the technical authority for wind farm design, balance of plant infrastructure, electrical systems, substations and grid connection works. Review, challenge and optimize engineering studies, technical specifications, layouts and detailed designs, ensuring solutions are safe, compliant, constructible, cost‐effective and optimized for long‐term performance.
