Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Rotational Chief Officer for a 70m+ Charter Motor Yacht
Start Date: 10 July 2026
Salary: €8,500+ DOE
Leave: 10:10 Rotation
Qualifications
Chief Mate 3000 CoC
Valid STCW
Valid ENG1
Schengen visa (where applicable)
Valid B1/B2 visa
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience as Chief Officer on a similar-sized yacht
Extensive charter experience is essential
Strong knowledge of yacht SMS and ISM procedures
Professional, polished and guest-focused
Clean-cut appearance with no visible tattoos
Fit, active and dynamic
Confident leading the deck team and working closely with owners and guests, including children
Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills
Other
Busy charter programme in the Mediterranean, followed by the Caribbean for the winter season
Joining in Capri, Italy
The yacht is open to considering temporary Chief Officers available to join at short notice even though the job is a permanent one.
