Milan, Italy (Office-based, 5 days per week)
We're partnering with an established international organisation to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to support a growing business function based in Milan. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior leaders to deliver both strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle.
This position would suit someone who enjoys building strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing business decisions, and balancing strategic initiatives with hands‐on HR delivery.
Key Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to provide proactive HR support and guidance.
Advise managers on employee relations matters, performance management and organisational change.
Support talent management, succession planning and workforce planning initiatives.
Lead and contribute to HR projects focused on improving employee engagement, culture and organisational effectiveness.
Drive performance management processes and support leadership development.
Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with Italian employment legislation.




Partner with the wider HR team to implement global and regional HR initiatives locally.
Analyse people data and provide insights to support business decision‐making.
Support recruitment activities for key hires where required.
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
Strong knowledge of Italian employment law and HR best practice.
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions.
Comfortable managing a broad range of HR activities, from strategic initiatives to day‐to‐day operational matters.
Commercially minded with the ability to balance business needs with employee experience.
Experience working within an international or matrix organisation would be advantageous.
Fluent Italian and professional English are essential.
