Engineer the mechanical-integrity inspection programme for the static equipment of a major refinery.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will engineer the inspection programme for the static equipment of the plant areas, ensuring code and statutory compliance and feeding the EAM inspection-management module.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Identify the static-equipment population: pressure vessels (API 510), piping (API 570), tanks (API 653), PED and Italian in-service items
• Perform damage-mechanism reviews (corrosion, CUI, cracking, high-temperature, fatigue, creep)
• Define corrosion loops and TMLs/CMLs
• Plan inspection methods, extents and intervals; compute corrosion rates, minimum thickness, remaining life and next-inspection dates
• Align with the existing RBI plans and map PED/statutory obligations; structure the data for EAM
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials or equivalent)




• 5+ years in static-equipment inspection & integrity in refinery / process plants
• Working knowledge of API codes and the Italian regulatory regime (PED, INAIL)
• Standards: API 510/570/653, PED 2014/68/EU, D.M. 329/2004, INAIL
• Tools: Inspection data-management software, RBI software, corrosion/remaining-life tools
NICE TO HAVE
• API 510 / 570 / 653 certifications
• Knowledge of API 571 (damage mechanisms) and API 580/581 (RBI)
• NDT qualifications (ASNT / PCN / EN ISO 9712)
LOCATION
Office or at Client's premises in Italy.
