Overview Energy Jobline is supporting a major international energy infrastructure programme and is seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage and coordinate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role will focus on ensuring all technical and project documentation is properly controlled, distributed, and archived in accordance with project procedures, company standards, and industry best practices. The Role Reporting to the Project Services Manager, the Document Controller will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the project document management system, ensuring that engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning documentation is accurately recorded and distributed. The position will work closely with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure all documentation is managed effectively in both electronic and hard copy formats where required.



Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain the project Document Management System (DMS/EDMS) Register, track, distribute, and archive project documentation including drawings, specifications, procedures, manuals, and correspondence Manage document numbering, version control, and revision tracking Maintain document registers, submission logs, and transmittal records Ensure timely distribution of documentation to project stakeholders including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors Support engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams with document submission and retrieval Monitor vendor and subcontractor document submissions to ensure compliance with project schedules Ensure document deliverables meet contractual and procedural requirements Support QA/QC teams with document records required for audits and compliance Prepare document status reports for project management and client
