Location: Province of Catania, Sicily, Italy
The Project
For the construction of a major utility‑scale solar PV portfolio in Sicily, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of construction activities, ensuring delivery in line with schedule, quality, safety, and budget requirements.
The successful candidate will act as the key on‑site point of contact, coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and EPC construction activities throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all construction activities on site.
Plan and monitor progress against the project schedule.
Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and project quality standards.
Identify, manage, and resolve operational issues and site risks.
Work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Client representatives.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to the allocated site budget.
Requirements




Proven experience managing construction sites and complex construction projects.
Previous experience in solar PV, renewable energy, industrial plants, infrastructure, or similar sectors is highly desirable.
Good understanding of EPC project delivery and construction site operations.
Strong leadership, organisational, and decision‑making skills.
Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors effectively.
Practical, hands‑on approach with a strong focus on achieving project objectives.
Availability to work full‑time in Sicily.
