In this role you partner with Design and Sourcing to drive raw materials development and procurement, translating creative vision into market-ready products.You act as a technical ambassador, ensuring feasibility, quality, and cost targets while managing vendor relationships.You will shape material concepts, coordinate critical paths, and safeguard timely delivery and adherence to standards.This position offers the opportunity to influence product integrity and the customer experience within Burberry's luxury, sustainability-driven agenda. Retribuzione / Benefits Partner with Design to translate creative vision into materials and product feasibility Manage vendor relationships, assess capabilities and availability to meet demand Research and develop new raw material concepts and technologies (samples, colourways)
Collaborate with mills on designs/materials and ensure correct execution Define and monitor raw material development critical path with Product Development and Design Identify risks, propose mitigations, and drive development to completion Order and deliver raw materials on time, within quality and cost targets Ensure functionality, standardisation, and fitness-for-purpose of developed products Collaborate with Operations during testing and negotiate aesthetic changes to protect design vision Support production meeting follow-ups and prep for proto/samples Maintain 100% accurate PLM updates Responsabilità Experience managing xrdztoy vendor relationships and delivering clear briefs Strong technical product knowledge across leather, fabrics, and materials Site experience with vendors and factories, delivering briefs and managing availability Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration Understanding of testing parameters, quality, and chemicals in finishing Critical path management a
