ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bSenior Rail Project Engineer /b to join its office in bGenoa, Italy /b within the bProject Engineering /b Division. p h3Mission /h3 pThe Senior Rail Project Engineer leads the technical execution of complex, multidisciplinary railway projects, ensuring that all technical aspects—from concept to delivery—are seamlessly integrated to meet client and project requirements. /p pThe role provides advanced technical guidance across design, operation, planning, and consultancy activities, maintaining oversight of integrated engineering deliverables and ensuring quality and compliance. /p pActing as a senior expert within the team, this position supports strategic decision-making, mentors junior engineers, and drives continuous improvement and innovation in project execution. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul libProposal Phase /bbr/Lead technical feasibility assessments for complex rail projects, identifying requirements, operational constraints, and strategic /Integrate multidisciplinary engineering inputs—including planning, operations, design,



and consultancy—to strengthen proposal /Define technical resources, timelines, and skills needed for accurate project estimation. /li libTechnical Implementation /bbr/Oversee technical delivery of railway engineering projects, ensuring alignment with quality, contractual obligations, and /Manage and resolve complex technical issues, providing high-level engineering libTechnical Team Leadership /bbr/Coordinate engineering teams in task allocation, performance monitoring, and interdisciplinary /Foster a cohesive environment among internal teams and subcontractors to ensure project /Interact with Discipline Managers to optimise resource allocation and team deployment. /li libQuality Control /bbr/Define and enforce quality control protocols to ensure technical deliverables meet the highest engineering /Identify and address deviations promptly, working alongside quality assurance teams. /li libComplia
