As a member of the Nature Geoscience editorial team, you drive editorial decisions for high-quality biogeochemistry research and related fields. You will collaborate with editors across Nature Portfolio, shaping content strategy and influencing peer review processes. You'll engage with researchers worldwide, attend conferences, and help communicate science through editorials and reviews. This role offers a chance to impact how earth and planetary sciences are understood and shared with the global community.
Retribuzione / Benefits Handle original research papers and oversee the editorial process with editor teams
Make well-reasoned editorial decisions based on expert advice
Contribute to content and strategy across Nature Geoscience and other Nature Portfolio journals
Commission and edit content such as Reviews; write editorials




Liaise with editors at other journals and with international researchers
Attend conferences and visit research institutions
Responsabilità PhD (or equivalent) in a field related to geoscience
Thorough understanding of recent trends in the field
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess novelty and implications of research across areas of this discipline
Willingness to travel and engage with scientists worldwide
Editorial experience is optional; candidates with editorial experience may be considered for Senior Editor positions
