Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Service Engineer (m/f/d) to join our global service organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service activities on board vessels and at shipyards worldwide. Working both independently and as part of larger project teams, you will ensure that customer systems are installed, commissioned, and maintained to the highest quality and safety standards.
The position offers extensive customer interaction, international travel opportunities, and the chance to work with advanced maritime automation, monitoring, and control systems throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities




Perform field service activities according to approved work plans and project schedules
Conduct troubleshooting, testing, adjustments, calibration, and fine‑tuning of equipment and systems
Perform major repairs, overhauls, upgrades, and retrofit activities independently when required
Execute installation, commissioning, and pre‑commissioning activities for maritime systems and equipment
Handover completed systems and solutions to customers, shipyards, and vessel operators
Lead and coordinate assigned service teams during on‑site execution when required
Interact directly with customers and provide technical support throughout service activities
Communicate progress and status updates to internal and external stakeholders
Create accurate service reports and technical documentation following work completion
