Joining us meansjoininga truly global community ofmore than70000people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.For ourSavigliano siteinItalywe are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiasticIndustrial Quality TechnicianIf you’re ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career as a Quality Inspector based at our site in Savigliano, Italy.Purpose of the JobInspection of part / product / train / installation and reporting of defects & ensure product compliance (check after rework).ResponsibilitiesThe Quality inspector ensures the compliance of products and parts delivered by the ALSTOM facilities. He / She performs inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions on products ready for delivery and on products during their manufacturing process. He / She validates manufacturing control plans. These control plans are written in close relationship with PME teams.Accountabilities & Authorities:Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework).Records inspection results in the industrial digital tools as required.Perform destructive & non-destructive examination when required and qualified.Maintain inspection records per component,



assembly and vehicle.Maintain Quality documentation for components, assemblies and vehicles.Participate in customer joint inspections.Preparation of approval and shipping documents.Control the correct calibration of critical equipment's and instrumentations used in the inspections.Participation to the Problem solving process related to issues found during manufacturing activitiesPerform/participate to product/process auditPerform handover inspection to evaluate product quality at each stage prior to transfer the products to the next onePerformance MeasurementInspection method time adherence.Management of reworkRequirementsPrevious similar quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry.Awareness on processes and products delivered in the project.Experience in Quality / audit are appreciated.Must be able to read and search drawings (2D, 3D) / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment.Good knowledge of Office (Excel, Power Point)Qualified on special process of his/her scope of workKnowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, …) and quality tools, experience in Non Destructive Testing - is a plusKnowledge on Problem solving process (8D, 5W…..), green belt qualification would be a plusExperience in operational activities, in documentation management & collaboration and team working.Predisposed to Team Work.Good skill communicationskills inside and outside the team.Italian - fluent, English- is highly appreciated.An agile, inclusive and responsiblecultureis the foundation of ourcompanywhere diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advanceintheir careers.
