? System Engineer (Automotive) | Modena, Italy | Onsite 5 Days/Week | Freelance Opportunity

We are looking for a System Engineer to join a leading automotive project in Modena, Italy. If you are passionate about vehicle systems, requirements engineering, networking, diagnostics, and cutting-edge automotive technologies, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and international environment.

? Your Responsibilities

- Write and manage functional requirements for vehicle systems
- Support validation teams by clarifying requirements and technical specifications
- Analyse system requirements and prepare Requirements Analysis Reports
- Perform log analysis and troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical issues
- Work closely with Network, Diagnostics, Mechatronics, and other engineering teams
- Provide technical support and contribute to design and architectural decisions




- Support the reference platform for system design and technical evaluations

? Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- experience in System Engineering, Requirements Engineering, or Automotive Development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a global and cross-functional environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Goal-oriented mindset and proactive approach

? Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Experience with automotive systems engineering and requirements management
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills
- Ability to interact with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams at different levels

? Language Requirements

- Italian: Fluent/Professional Proficiency (Mandatory)
- English: Intermediate or above

? Work Location

Modena, Italy (Onsite – 5 Days per Week)
