Our solutions enable businesses and governments to extract actionable insights from complex spatial data, transforming them into powerful tools for improving urban resilience, optimizing infrastructure, and managing environmental risk. /p pWe are building our Insurance Reinsurance business unit and are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth across the Italian market. /p pThis role offers the opportunity to work directly with leading insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and innovation teams, helping them leverage next-generation geospatial intelligence for underwriting, exposure management, climate risk, and portfolio optimization. /p pThe successful candidate will play a strategic role in shaping and expanding MindEarth's insurance practice in Southern Europe. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liDeveloping and maintaining commercial relationships within insurance and reinsurance groups and large brokerage firms.
/li liIdentify and originate new business opportunities within underwriting, pricing, risk management, innovation, and strategy departments. /li liPromote advanced analytics solutions addressing: ul liNatural catastrophe and climate risk assessment (Cat-Nat). /li liProperty and real estate portfolio intelligence. /li liMobility and automotive risk analytics. /li liExposure management and portfolio optimization. /li liEmerging climate resilience and ESG-related use cases. /li /ul /li liStructure enterprise-level commercial proposals and multi-year agreements. /li liLead pilots, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and strategic customer engagements. /li liCoordinate with technical, legal, and compliance teams throughout the sales lifecycle. /li liContribute to the development of the Insurance vertical strategy and go-to-market initiatives. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul li5+ years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, insurtech, analytics, or consulting sales. /li liEstablished network within the Italian insurance ecosystem is highly desirable. /li liStrong understanding of underwriting, pricing, claims, exposure management, or reinsurance processes.
