Freelance AI Engineer (Italian Speaking) | Fully Remote | 6-Month Contract + Extension

Location: Fully Remote (Italy)

Contract: Freelance

Duration: 6 months initial contract with strong possibility of extension

Daily Rate: Negotiable

We're partnering with a leading European technology consultancy that delivers innovative digital transformation, cloud, AI and software engineering solutions for enterprise clients across a range of industries. They are looking to strengthen their AI capability by bringing on board an experienced AI Engineer to support a high-profile project.

Key Requirements:

- 3+ years' commercial experience as an AI Engineer
- Strong expertise in AI Agents and Generative AI (GenAI)
- Experience designing and developing microservices architectures
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
- Advanced Python development skills
- Experience with API development and integration
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
