IT Network EngineerWe are seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to join a dynamic IT infrastructure team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and optimisation of enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across on-premises and cloud environments. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in networking and security, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to contribute to infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, load balancers, SD-WAN, cloud, and remote connectivity.- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability across the IT infrastructure.- Manage network security solutions and implement security best practices to protect business systems and data.- Perform incident, problem, and change management activities in line with operational procedures.- Configure and maintain network devices, cloud networking, and remote access solutions.- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and service providers to deliver infrastructure projects and operational improvements.- Produce and maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams,



and technical procedures.- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and the implementation of new technologies.- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including network automation and operational efficiency.- Ensure infrastructure complies with security, governance, and business requirements.Requirements- Strong experience supporting and managing enterprise network infrastructure.- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, wireless networking, and network security.- Experience working with enterprise networking technologies and cloud networking environments.- Proven experience troubleshooting complex network issues in production environments.- Good understanding of network monitoring, performance optimisation, and fault diagnosis.- Experience with VPNs, remote access solutions, and network security technologies.- Knowledge of SD-WAN and network automation is advantageous.- Experience with Microsoft Azure or other public cloud networking services is desirable.- CCNA (or equivalent networking knowledge) is essential; CCNP or higher is advantageous.- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
