Pharmacy Account Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive management of pharmacy chains and groups and their stakeholders. This field‑force role involves defining and managing the territory’s corporate strategy, negotiating commercial terms, implementing marketing campaigns, delivering pharmacist training, promoting generic medicine penetration in Italy, and collecting market intelligence to inform continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a territory manager within the assigned geographical areas, identifying target customers (chains, groups, or individuals) and prioritizing them based on the company’s market segmentation.
Define and achieve sales, efficiency, and performance objectives for each pharmacy, respecting agreed timelines and plans.
Choose, within the assigned budget, the most appropriate initiatives to support client needs.
Define and directly manage the best negotiation strategies within shared plans to maximise economic and financial objectives for each client.
Design and implement the client‑management strategy, planning the optimal mix of marketing campaigns, commercial presentations, training modules, and other support elements.
Ensure customer satisfaction through strong relationship‑building skills.
Pursue agreed contact, coverage, and frequency objectives, defining optimisation strategies autonomously, including communication channel choices.
Ensure timely delivery of data, reports, and analyses ahead of area meetings,



respecting deadlines for continuous adaptation and alignment across territories.
Support digital initiatives and collect related consents.
Act as an ambassador of Sandoz ethics and values, managing all client interactions in full compliance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a sales or similar role within the generics industry.
Robust knowledge of the company’s portfolio.
Customer relationship and stakeholder‑management skills.
Analytical skills and a sales‑oriented mindset.
Results‑orientation and determination to meet and exceed company expectations.
Business acumen and awareness of the competitive landscape.
Proven listening and communication skills.
Problem‑solving within compliance and regulatory boundaries, respecting company SOPs.
Fluency in Italian and English.
