Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future. **Partner with the best** As a Buying and Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for: - Being the Single Point Of Contact for European, US, China Global Suppliers to ensure robust material synchronization between Planners and Global Buyers
- Ensuring correct update of Promise dates in correlation with need dates, prioritization of hard demand and critical PO lines to Global Buyers, decide MOS and approve L1 for premium Transportation, ensure RFI and SDRs are closed by Site engineering at earliest
- Placing and following-up on POs for Suppliers under her/ His area of responsibilities. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.
- Detecting and signaling flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
- Contributing towards taking important decisions with business relevance or supporting business in making decisions understanding broader cross-functional implications.
- Communicating high-level concepts to senior leadership. Frequent use of coaching and development of subordinates.
- Delivering specialized professional work delivered by single-layered team or professional work delivered by multi-layered teams.
- Handling complex professional work in the department. Cases are unique and sometimes without precedent.
- Employees are expected to develop new approaches. Knowledge management is important.
- Contributing to project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months
- Expediting direct material in support of the Manufacturing organization
- Ensuring on time materials supply to support production and sales.
- Working to resolve Materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics. **Fuel your passion** To be successful in this role you will: - Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven years of experience in Sourcing).
- Show strong oral and written communication skills, along with interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Be able to work independently, with problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate ability to lead programs / projects.
- Be able to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Show established project management skills.
- Be fluent both in Italian and English (oral and written).
