The GS System Engineer will report to the Ground Segment Responsible. We can consider candidates for the locations of Rome o Bari. ResponsabilitiesCoordination of the GS Engineering team GS design, preparation and executionPreparation of subsystems technical requirements specificationsDefinition and justification GS architecture, from concept to detailed design phaseDefinition and control of GS technical interfaces, internal and external (towards space and launch segments)Definition of and verification of the GS engineering budgets and performancesCoordination of internal development teams/subcontractors during the design, development, and acceptance phases of GS subsystemsCoordination with GS AIV Manager for the GS Integration and Validation activitiesCoordination with the OPS Manager during the operational validation, LEOP and commissioning and phases to address,
solve GS issues and to maintain GS architecture baselineRequirements Master degree or comparable in Aerospace EngineeringProfessional experience of at least 5 years of experience in GS Engineering for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) missionsSound knowledge of DOORSSound knowledge of UML/SysML and MBSE toolsExperience with coordinating a team, he/she shall have good interpersonal, reporting and communication skills and a proactive attitude to problem solvingExperience with coordinating partners from different companies in an international projectExperience in technical follow up of HW/SW procurement within the GS architectureFluent in written and spoken EnglishSound knowledge of ground system engineering processes, and ground system and software life cyclesSound knowledge of relevant ECSS standardsWHAT DO WE OFFER?
