As an Energy Market Associate, you will play a key role in providing insights and analysis to drive the success of our energy operations. You'll be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, working closely with departments such as development, finance, legal, and asset management. This position will offer a broad range of responsibilities including global energy market analysis, regulatory analysis, and revenue structuring/modelling for complex portfolios. Reporting to the Energy Market Analysis Manager, your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the company’s strategy. **Key Responsibilities**: - Provide expert analysis of global energy markets to inform business strategy.
- Manage and evaluate relationships with market consultants and assess the assumptions behind price and revenue forecasts.
- Oversee data management, including price curves and external consultant assumptions.
- Develop hybrid revenue models to support business growth. **Desirable skills**: - Strong understanding of global power markets and key influencing factors
- Modelling and programming skills (Python preferred)
- Proficiency in PowerBI and Excel
- Data-driven with a strategic mindset, strong communication, and collaboration skills
