This opportunity is for a Critical Facilities Technician to support the day-to-day operation of a mission-critical data center. The role focuses on maintaining electrical, mechanical, cooling, and monitoring systems, performing maintenance, responding to incidents, and ensuring the reliable operation of critical infrastructure within a 24/7 environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform planned and corrective maintenance across critical electrical and mechanical systems.Monitor infrastructure systems using BMS, EPMS, and SCADA platforms.Respond to alarms, incidents, and equipment failures, carrying out troubleshooting and escalation where required.Support operation and maintenance of: SwitchgearUPS systemsGeneratorsHVAC and cooling infrastructureConduct routine inspections and operational checks across the facility.Support incident management and root-cause analysis activities.Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational standards, and site processes.Work closely with vendors, subcontractors,
and internal operations teams.Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and operational documentation.Participate in on-call and shift-based support within a 24/7 environment.Skills / Must haveExperience within data centers, critical facilities, industrial, or mission-critical environments.Strong understanding of: Electrical distribution systemsUPS systems and backup powerGenerators and switchgearHVAC / CRAC / cooling systemsExperience using BMS / EPMS / SCADA monitoring systems.Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical infrastructure.Understanding of operational procedures, safety standards, and escalation processes.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced 24/7 operational environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Salary€40,000#J-18808-Ljbffr
