We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale mission-critical development from construction through to commissioning. The successful candidate will act as the client's representative, overseeing contractor performance, project controls, stakeholder management and overall project delivery throughout the programme lifecycle.This opportunity is ideally suited to a construction professional with a strong background in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or complex industrial developments, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and major contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day delivery of data centre construction activities on site.Act as the primary client representative, ensuring project objectives are achieved.Manage contractors, consultants and key project stakeholders throughout all phases of delivery.Oversee programme, cost, quality and health & safety performance.Monitor construction progress and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.Coordinate project reporting, governance activities and executive-level stakeholder communications.Ensure compliance with client standards, industry best practice and local regulatory requirements.Support commissioning, testing and handover activities to ensure successful project completion.Drive collaboration across design, construction and operational teams.Required ExperienceProven experience as a Project Manager,



Senior Project Manager or Construction Manager delivering large-scale construction projects.Demonstrable track record delivering data centre, mission-critical, hyperscale, life sciences, industrial or advanced technology facilities.Strong experience managing:Civil and structural worksMEP installationsMission-critical infrastructureCommissioning and integrated systems testingMain contractors and specialist subcontractorsComplex stakeholder environmentsSignificant experience managing contractor-led delivery on large and complex construction projects.Strong understanding of project controls, programme management and construction contracts.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Thorough knowledge of health, safety and quality management practices.Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience delivering data centre projects for hyperscale, colocation or enterprise clients.Experience working within Italy or the wider European construction market.Understanding of Italian construction regulations, permitting requirements and supply chains.Experience managing projects through commissioning and operational readiness phases.Italian language skills advantageous.Why Apply?This is an opportunity to join a high-profile development programme and play a key role in the delivery of cutting-edge digital infrastructure within one of Europe's fastest-growing data centre markets.
