Are you an Electrical Engineering graduate, or do you have electrical, automation or industrial engineering experience?
Turner ECS (MCS) is looking for ambitious engineers to join our Italian team and develop into specialist Electrical Control Systems Engineers, supporting power generation and industrial customers across Europe and beyond.
From day one, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, solving real engineering challenges on customer sites while receiving structured mentoring and technical training.
As part of your development, you'll complete a fully funded 3-month technical training programme in the Netherlands, with future opportunities to work on projects throughout Europe and internationally.

What You'll Be Doing
Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience in:
Commissioning & Field Service
- Installing and commissioning industrial control systems
- Functional testing and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Supporting customer start-ups and system upgrades
Fault Finding & Diagnostics
- Diagnosing electrical and control system faults
- Supporting hardware repairs and software modifications
- Troubleshooting PLC and automation systems
- Optimising equipment performance
Engineering Support
- Reading electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Preparing equipment for site work
- Producing technical reports
- Working with Project Engineers on customer sites across Europe
Every project is different, giving you exposure to cutting-edge industrial equipment and real engineering challenges.
We're Looking For
We'd like to hear from engineers with:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- OR practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, commissioning, automation or industrial engineering
- A genuine interest in electrical control systems and industrial automation
- Professional English language skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial, but isn't essential:
- PLCs and automation
- Electrical control panels
- Industrial electrical systems
- Commissioning
- Instrumentation
- Power generation equipment
- Rotating machinery
If you have the passion to learn, we'll provide the technical training.
Where You'll Work
Your work will take you to a wide variety of industrial environments, including:

All travel, accommodation and business expenses are fully covered for customer assignments.
