You'll join our Global Speciality business as a senior member of the Cyber team, with significant authority on complex risks and a clear mandate to drive profitable, sustainable growth. Tech PI Underwriting forms part of the Cyber Vertical at Global Specialty. /p pYou'll combine deep technical Cyber / Tech PI underwriting expertise with strong business and financial acumen, a winning trading mindset and a clear focus on customer and broker relationships. /p h3What will you be doing? /h3 ul liLeading and executing the Cyber underwriting plan, ensuring strong technical risk selection, pricing discipline and portfolio optimisation. /li liUnderwriting complex and high-value Cyber / Tech PI risks in line with our appetite, guidelines and pricing frameworks, with a clear commitment to risk quality, governance and best-in-class pipeline management / business development. /li liUsing data, portfolio insights and market intelligence to inform underwriting decisions, identify trends and support innovation in products, propositions and underwriting approach. /li liBuilding, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and customers, acting as a visible and trusted point of contact for Cyber Tech PI. /li liCollaborating closely with the Head of Cyber and wider leadership to shape and deliver underwriting strategy, bringing commercial insight and experience across different market cycles. /li liProviding technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to less experienced colleagues,
helping to build capability and foster a high-performance, learning culture. /li liWorking effectively with a wide range of stakeholders (including claims, actuarial, portfolio management, operations and senior leaders), managing priorities and "managing up" with credibility and confidence. /li liSupporting a culture of continuous improvement, including process enhancement, knowledge sharing and the use of new tools, data and ways of working. /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 h3Technical Expertise: /h3 ul liProven experience as a Cyber and/or Tech PI Underwriter or Broker, with strong market contacts and a track record of delivering profitable growth. /li liDeep understanding of Cyber Tech PI exposures, controls, coverages and emerging trends. /li liStrong technical underwriting skills and commitment to risk quality and governance. /li /ul h3Breadth of Business Experience: /h3 ul liStrong business and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret financial information, understand PL drivers and make decisions that support sustainable portfolio performance. /li liExperience operating across different market and business cycles, with the ability to adapt trading strategies accordingly. /li liDemonstrated ability to drive results, take ownership of targets and contribute to planning and portfolio steering. /li /ul h3Leadership Capabilities: /h3 ul liA winning / trading mindset, with the confidence to take well-judged underwriting positions and negotiate effectively. /li liExperience of providing technical leadership, coaching or mentoring to others. /li liAbility to translate strategy into execution, prioritising effectively and delivering through collaboration.
