**Exciting opportunity for a Qualified Urban Planner at Reid Brewin Architects (Milan)** Founded in 2006 in Paris, Reid Brewin Architects (RBA) has developed into a dynamic international practice, now home to more than 125 team members across our studios in Paris, London, Milan and Madrid. We specialise in high-specification, large-scale projects - particularly in data centres, commercial offices, and luxury retail. Known for our technical excellence and design-led approach, we offer a vibrant, multicultural environment where ambitious architects can thrive. To support our ongoing development, RBA London is seeking a **Qualified Urban Planner** with strong all-round design and technical capabilities to join our team and work on major **data centre projects in Italy**. **Key Responsibilities** Collaborate with the existing urban development team on the following activities: - Develop implementation plans and master plans for large-scale projects, paying particular attention to regulatory compliance and urban sustainability
- Develop spatial planning and verify zoning compliance
- Verify and validate design phases (conceptual and schematic) for buildings, access roads, green areas and public interfaces, ensuring compliance with urban planning constraints
- Evaluate potential sites from the point of view of urban planning, access to infrastructures and roads, identifying possible criticalities and solutions
- Integrate data centre developments into local and regional development plans, ensuring their consistency with sustainability goals and community needs
- Prepare documentation and visual material (reports, drawings, maps) for presentations to stakeholders and for authorisation processes




- Coordinate and manage the building permit process in accordance with Italian regulations, ensuring timely submission and follow-up with local authorities
- Monitor project compliance at all stages, from planning to construction, collaborating with the design team and ensuring compliance with urban and environmental requirements
- Filing and reviewing construction documents (SCIA, PDC, etc.)
- Liaise with and support environmental permitting experts in providing the necessary information for the filing and follw up of permits
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Urban planning
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role
- Experience delivering large-scale projects; data centre or high-tech commercial projects is a strong plus
- Strong design sensibility with excellent coordination and client liaison skills
- Proficient in **Revit** is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of Italian planning and building regulations
- Fluent in English (French language is a plus) **What We Offer**
