**Position from September 2025 to February 2026** We now have a position open at Canadian School of Florence for a qualified **Maths Teacher**who will contribute to wider success by teaching outstanding Maths classes and sustaining student performance in terms of teaching, learning, and evaluation. The position will be for our high school and will have a focus on calculus and advanced functions. **Job overview** You’ll be delivering core aspects of the Maths curriculum, using assessments and feedback to sustain and raise achievement. **Job requirements**
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification;
- Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g. BSc in a Maths-related degree);
- Experience in teaching High School Maths;
- Ability to deliver high-quality Maths lessons covering a range of modules and concepts, both theoretical and practical;
- Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Maths;
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in preparation for examinations;
- Nice to have: Teaching experience in an international school. **Personal competences**: - Strong English Language communication skills (C2 minimum);
- Strong IT skills, ability to use multiple platforms and engage students in 21st century learning using relevant tech;
- Collaboration skills, ability to work as part of a holistic team to support student development;
