**Italy Operations Director, Lockers by Quadient** **Based in: Milan, Hybrid** **Reporting to: Managing Director** **Your role in our Future** Quadient Parcel Lockers Division has a number of new career opportunities to join a new team dedicated to manage and securing Operational Excellence. This is a hybrid based role, so you will ideally be near to Milan or elsewhere in Northern Italy with regular visits to the Milan offices. There will be national travel involved. **What you will do** Operations Manager responsible for: - Management of the Operations Team
- Coordination and direct involvement in activities for procurement, installation, supply chain and customer support functionalities in corporation with sub-contractors.
- Management of IT, Product Deliveries & new projects (solutions enhancement, new features implementations,
new releases)
- Quality Management (Processes, Hardware, Software and IT), including KPI Management / Monitoring **Your Profile**
- Familiar to new technologies combining software, IT, mechanical and electronics
- Experience in improving customer experience/satisfaction
- Extensive knowledge of project management
- Good understanding of business strategies / ability to contribute to strategic orientations
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain, operations and vendor management is a plus
- Fluent in English, French is a plus
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Human skills
- Excellent organizational and managerial skills. Strong leadership is required.
- Excellent communication skills, especially towards customers
- Results oriented / Hands-on manager
- Ability to move the organization from a "start-up" mode to a more process oriented management.
- Ability to motivate teams in a challenging and demanding environment
- Available and ready to face emergencies **Experience required**
- Minimum 5-year team management experience
- Experience in both Italian and multicultural/international environments
- Proven and successful experience in a managerial position
- Experience in contributing to new business model definition / implementation
- Experience in public devices management (ATMs, vending machines, etc.) is a plus.
- Good understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
