US resident alien family members of US sponsors who are citizens of NATO countries other than the host nation and possess a valid green card and US Social Security Number (SSN). **Duties**: - Completes a prescribed agenda of formal/informal classroom and on-the-job training and self-development as set forth in the individual Training Development Plan.
- Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.
- Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
- Assists in planning, conducting, and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. **Requirements**:

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating shift, to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and MWR Special events. **Qualifications**:

- This is a developmental position leading to the full performance level as described in PD #AK008 for the Recreation Assistant. Assignments are selected to ensure the development of skills and abilities needed to perform the target level duties.

- The employee works under closer than normal supervision wherein work is closely reviewed and detailed guidance provided. As employee progresses, supervisory control diminish until full performance level is reached. **Education**:

- Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
