Experteer Overview As Radar Architect Engineer in the Radar Instrument Engineering Unit, you will shape the digital and RF payload for SAR systems. You will analyze radar requirements, evaluate architecture options, and define digital processing and on-board components. You'll collaborate with HW/SW teams, conduct design reviews, and support test campaigns to validate performance. This role blends engineering leadership with hands‐on tool development to advance space‐based radar capabilities.
Retribuzione / Benefits Evaluate radar input requirements and translate them into architecture and HW/SW needs
Trade off radar instrument architectures (antenna, RF, digital sections) for SAR systems
Define digital section requirements: waveform generation, echo processing, beamforming, data management
Support HW/SW teams with functional decomposition and performance targets




Participate in design reviews at multiple levels and ensure traceability of requirements
Contribute to radar payload budgets and system engineering documentation
Develop software tools (e.g., Matlab, Excel) for simulations and analyses
Evaluate test results and contribute to test campaigns at instrument/unit levels
Participate in meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and customers
Prepare technical documents and handouts for reviews and stakeholders
Responsabilità Master in Remote Sensing Engineering
Background in HW design for RF and digital electronics; RF/antenna design knowledge
Matlab and MS Office proficiency
English language proficiency (intermediate or higher)
Teamwork orientation
