pstrongAbout the Role /strong /ppWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced strongSenior CFD Aerodynamics Analyst /strong to join our Vehicle Performance Aerodynamics team. /ppThe successful candidate will be the technical focal point for strongexternal aerodynamics simulation and development activities across the entire commercial vehicle portfolio /strong, including strongLight, Medium and Heavy-Duty vehicles /strong. The role combines advanced CFD simulation expertise, wind tunnel testing coordination, homologation support, project management, and supplier coordination. /ppWe are looking for a passionate engineer with a strong background in vehicle aerodynamics, capable of driving complex technical activities with a high degree of autonomy while working effectively within a multidisciplinary and international environment. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliLead and perform advanced strongCFD simulations for external vehicle aerodynamics /strong applications. /liliSupport aerodynamic development activities across all vehicle ranges, including strongLight, Medium and Heavy-Duty platforms /strong. /liliExecute CFD studies required for strongvehicle certification and homologation processes /strong, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures. /liliManage the complete CFD workflow, including geometry preparation, meshing, simulation setup, execution, post-processing, validation and reporting. /liliDevelop, maintain and continuously improve CFD models, methodologies and best practices. /liliAct as the primary technical interface with the strongIveco Homologation Department /strong for aerodynamics-related activities. /liliPlan, organize and coordinate strongwind tunnel testing campaigns /strong, working closely with internal teams, testing facilities and external partners. /liliCorrelate CFD predictions with experimental data and ensure continuous improvement of simulation accuracy. /liliCoordinate and supervise engineering activities performed by external suppliers and service providers. /liliManage project schedules, priorities and deliverables, ensuring activities are completed on time and to the required quality standards. /liliPresent technical recommendations and results to engineering teams, project stakeholders and management.



/liliContribute to innovation initiatives and the development of future aerodynamic methodologies and processes. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongRequired Qualifications /strong /ppbr / /ppstrongEducation /strong /ppMaster's Degree in one of the following disciplines: /pulliAerospace Engineering /liliAeronautical Engineering /liliMechanical Engineering with specialization in Automotive Engineering /liliEquivalent engineering qualification /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongProfessional Experience /strong /pulliMinimum strong7 years of proven industrial experience /strong in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). /liliDemonstrated experience in strongexternal aerodynamics applications /strong within the automotive, commercial vehicle or transportation industries. /liliProven track record in managing complex engineering projects and interacting with multiple stakeholders. /liliExperience coordinating activities performed by external engineering suppliers and consultants. /liliExperience planning and managing wind tunnel testing activities is highly desirable. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongTechnical Skills /strong /pulliAdvanced proficiency with: /lilistrongSTAR-CCM+ /strong /lilistrongANSA /strong /liliStrong expertise in surface and volume mesh generation for complex vehicle geometries. /liliDeep understanding of CFD methodologies applied to external vehicle aerodynamics. /liliExperience in CFD model validation and correlation with wind tunnel and experimental test data. /liliFamiliarity with vehicle homologation and certification processes related to aerodynamic performance. /liliExperience working in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments and managing large-scale simulation campaigns. /liliKnowledge of scripting and process automation tools is considered a plus. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongPersonal Skills /strong /pulliStrong passion for aerodynamics and simulation engineering. /liliHighly motivated, proactive and result-oriented mindset. /liliExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
