Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting, on behalf of a leading international player operating in the renewable energy sector, a Land Contracts Specialist to join the Italian team based in Rome.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing land-related activities across a portfolio of Solar and BESS projects, supporting the entire project lifecycle
.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the lifecycle of land agreements, ensuring all contractual commitments are fulfilled in line with project schedules.
- Monitor payment obligations, contractual milestones, renewals, and deadlines associated with land acquisition and lease agreements.
- Manage negotiations and maintain relationships with landowners, notaries, consultants, and external advisors throughout the contracting process.
- Support the preparation, review, and execution of real estate documentation required for project development.
- Maintain accurate records of contractual documentation and ensure internal databases are continuously updated.
- Coordinate activities related to expropriation procedures where applicable.
- Identify contractual and legal risks related to land agreements, proposing practical and business-oriented solutions.
- Monitor changes in Italian legislation and regulatory frameworks affecting renewable energy developments and real estate matters.
- Work closely with Legal, Business Development, Engineering, Permitting, and Project Management teams to ensure project alignment.
- Contribute to the optimization of internal procedures and reporting processes related to land management activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, or related sectors, with direct involvement in land acquisition or land management activities.
- Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Driving licence and availability to travel across Italy.
