Deal provides services that range from conceptual and detailed design of pre-fabrication and erection systems, to the design and supply of specialised equipment such as launching trusses, straddle carriers, gantry cranes, casting machines as well as other custom lifting, moving and casting devices. /ppWebsite: /ppbr / /ppstrongAbout the Role /strong /ppThe Design Engineer contributes to the successful delivery of DEAL's projects by developing safe, reliable and efficient mechanical and industrial engineering solutions for the Equipment Division, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, quality and project requirements. The role supports both tendering and project execution by producing engineering designs and technical documentation, working closely with project teams and other disciplines to deliver technically sound, practical and cost-effective solutions aligned with project objectives, applicable standards and customer expectations. /ppbr / /ppstrongResponsibilities /strong /ppstrongEngineering Design Technical Development /strong /pulliDevelop engineering designs and technical solutions in accordance with project requirements, applicable standards and Company procedures. /liliPrepare engineering calculations, design reports, drawings, specifications and other technical documentation required for tendering and project execution. /liliPerform engineering analyses and technical verifications to ensure the safety, reliability and feasibility of proposed solutions. /liliSupport the selection and optimization of engineering solutions to achieve technical performance, cost efficiency and constructability objectives.
/liliIdentify technical issues, design risks and non-conformities, proposing appropriate corrective actions and technical solutions. /liliContribute to the management of engineering changes by evaluating their technical impact and updating engineering documentation accordingly. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongProject Technical Coordination /strong /pulliReview customer specifications, contractual documents and technical requirements to ensure compliant engineering solutions. /liliSupport tendering activities by providing technical inputs, preliminary designs and engineering evaluations for proposal development. /liliCoordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, Procurement, Production and other internal functions to ensure the effective development of engineering deliverables. /liliCollaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration and coordination of technical solutions across project activities. /liliSupport technical clarifications with customers, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors during tendering and project execution, when required. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongEngineering Documentation Document Management /strong /pulliEnsure that engineering documentation is accurate, complete, consistent and issued in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements. /liliMaintain engineering records, calculations and technical documentation within the Company's document management systems. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongHealth, Safety Compliance /strong /pulliEnsure compliance with Company policies, the Code of Ethics,
applicable laws and regulations, and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) standards and requirements. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongProfessional Development /strong /pulliMaintain and continuously develop the technical and professional competencies required for the role through active participation in training, learning and development initiatives. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongQualifications /strong /pulliMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. /liliAt least 2-3 years of experience in mechanical and/or industrial engineering design, preferably in heavy equipment, steel structures or construction-related projects. /liliGood knowledge of structural analysis and engineering calculation principles. /liliProficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.G. AutoCAD). /liliGood knowledge of mechanical design, engineering drawings and applicable technical standards. /liliGood English knowledge. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical solutions and identify design risks. /liliAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and effectively coordinate with internal functions, customers, suppliers and subcontractors. /liliProactive attitude, attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning and professional development. /li /ulpbr / /ppPosition report to the Head of Engineering.
