Experteer Overview

As a Power System Engineer, you design and validate DC power distribution architectures for data centers and industrial applications. You’ll align with customers and R&D; to co‑develop reliable, efficient power solutions. The role involves simulations, protection schemes, and standards awareness to ensure compliant, future‑ready systems. You’ll work in a hybrid setup and collaborate across cross‑functional teams to drive impact in electrification projects.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Design DC power distribution systems using switchgear, breakers, busbars, energy storage and related power electronics
- Co‑develop customer solutions aligned with market needs
- Perform electrical system simulations and validate architectures
- Conduct system studies (load flow, short‑circuit, protection coordination) using simulation tools
- Develop and evaluate protection schemes (short‑circuit analysis, coordination)




- Collaborate with R&D; teams on power electronics and DC equipment
- Monitor and apply relevant standards to ensure compliance and future readiness

Responsabilità
- 5+ years in power system design, preferably DC systems
- Strong knowledge of DC protection principles and standards (IEC, IEEE)
- Electrical system design/engineering expertise in DC distribution
- Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Electrical system simulation expertise (MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, ETAP)
- Knowledge of power electronics, switching topologies and converter protection
- Ability to lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams
- Ability to design and evaluate DC protection schemes
- Understanding of industry standards and evolving regulations
