Infrastructure Specifications and Projects Manager Italy

In this role you drive growth for PPG’s Protective Coatings Infrastructure by building durable customer relationships and acting as the go-to coating advisor. You work across the value chain with owners, EPCs, and engineers to win projects, influence specifications, and deliver value through innovative solutions. You will manage pipelines, run cross-border opportunities, and align plans with regional and global teams. This position offers impact in sustainable infrastructure and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities in Civil Infrastructure within the pipeline
- Maintain and nurture a project pipeline aligned with annual/quarterly targets
- Collaborate with Segment Manager to select target/must-win projects
- Own projects from identification to contracting stage and provide pricing inputs
- Drive cross-border project wins with global E&P; KAMs and regional peers




- Prepare and manage Key Account plans and ensure project progress updates across teams
- Engage with owners, architects, engineers, and EPCs through impactful visits
- Expand internal network to accelerate impact and support action plans
- Ensure PPG is specified and approved as a supplier on relevant projects
- 5–7 years experience in Business Skills and Relationship Management
- Industry knowledge of Civil Infrastructure and coatings an advantage
- Proven ability to execute Value Selling for products/services
- Project management experience from identification to contracting
- Account management experience with industry players including architects, engineering firms, and consultancies
- Strong communication skills and ability to disseminate project progress
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce.Com is advantageous
- Multilingual abilities beneficial, especially English and other European languages
