As a key member of STACK's Solutions Engineering team, you bridge hyperscale client needs with engineering delivery to design resilient, scalable, energy-efficient data centre power solutions. You’ll shape technical direction across design, construction, commissioning and operational readiness, ensuring alignment with STACK standards. You will engage with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into actionable inputs and drive multidisciplinary coordination. This role offers impact across Europe, working on mission-critical infrastructure for leading digital platforms and shaping long-term operational performance.

- Act as a trusted engineering partner to hyperscale and strategic clients, capturing their technical and business requirements
- Translate client needs into engineering briefs and design criteria for internal teams
- Lead workshops and design intent sessions, communicating complex topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Shape practical, scalable, and resilient electrical solutions aligned with STACK standards and project requirements
- Provide electrical engineering expertise across critical power infrastructure (MV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers, protection, monitoring)
- Review load analysis, protection coordination, arc flash, resilience strategies and capacity assumptions
- Support FAT, SAT, energisation planning, commissioning and IST
- Act as technical authority for Electrical Engineering while coordinating with Mechanical, Controls, Fire Protection, Security and ICT disciplines
- Identify interfaces, risks and optimization opportunities across building systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions throughout the project lifecycle




- Review design documents and deviations for alignment with client requirements
- Proactively identify risks and drive engineering change control
- Support project teams during design and delivery, maintaining client requirements and compliance
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal disciplines for buildable solutions
- Support testing, commissioning and handover to confirm performance criteria
- Prepare technical assessments, gap analyses and design review summaries for stakeholders
Contribute feedback to continuous improvement of STACK reference designs and standards
- Represent STACK in client meetings, on projects/sites and technical reviews across EMEA, with travel up to 25%
- Strong electrical engineering experience in hyperscale data centres or similar complex infrastructure
- In-depth knowledge of critical power systems (MV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers, protection, earthing, monitoring)
- Experience supporting data centre design and delivery across a full lifecycle (design to handover)
- Experience reviewing Basis of Design documents, specs, calculations and changes
- Understanding of resilience/availability strategies (N+1, 2N, fault tolerance, scalability)
- Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, IST and technical acceptance activities desirable
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills
- Sound technical judgement, analytical approach and risk management
- Ability to collaborate across Development, Design Engineering, Delivery and Operations
- Understanding of integrated data centre systems and cross-discipline interactions
- Professional accreditation or chartership desirable
- Strong written and verbal English;
European market experience advantageous
