We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Porto Corsini, supporting our production operations and driving continuous improvement. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pReporting directly to the Production Manager, you will oversee and optimize daily plant production, ensuring compliance with Bunge Italia’s quality, safety, and environmental standards. You will play a key role in improving performance, solving operational challenges, and supporting plant efficiency. /p pIn this role, you will coordinate daily activities across: 10 Crushing Operators, 3 Refinery Crushing Operators and 5 Shift Leaders. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liMonitor daily production processes to ensure performance aligns with safety, quality, and operational standards /li liIdentify, analyze, and manage process deviations, coordinating corrective actions with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Production teams /li liSupervise and support maintenance interventions at the operational level /li liTrack, analyze, and improve department KPIs, working closely with operators and shift leaders /li liActively contribute to continuous improvement and plant optimization projects /li liDevelop, update, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
/li liTrain operators and shift supervisors on processes and procedures /li liManage inventory of consumables (e.g. chemicals), ensuring continuous production through effective stock control and reordering /li liMaintain accurate records of production losses and ensure data entry in SAP /li liMake data‑driven decisions to improve plant performance and align with Bunge’s global strategy /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 h3Education Experience /h3 ul liDegree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar /li liExperience not required, but exposure to industrial or continuous production environments is a plus /li liExperience in industrial plants, mechanical or port environments is beneficial /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liGood knowledge of SAP (preferred) /li liStrong command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) /li liUnderstanding of quality, safety, and environmental regulations /li liKnowledge of industrial equipment such as centrifugal and lobe pumps, motors and reducers, and centrifugal separators /li liProficient in English and Italian /li liTraining in industrial mechanics and/or electrical systems /li liKnowledge of HACCP and workplace risk prevention /li liCertifications related to industrial safety, quality, or environmental systems /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
