pMechanical Solutions Engineer – Data Centres /ppstrongLocation: /strong Milan, Italy (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office) /ppstrongSalary: /strong Up to €80,000 + premio /ppbr/ppstrongThe Opportunity /strong /ppAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a strongMechanical Solutions Engineer /strong to join a fast-growing data centre organisation delivering mission-critical infrastructure projects across EMEA. /ppThis role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of strongmechanical engineering, data centre design and customer solutions /strong, supporting the development of hyperscale and colocation facilities across Europe. /ppbr/ppYou will act as a key technical advisor, helping shape mechanical solutions from early concept design through to delivery, working closely with customers, engineering consultants, contractors and internal teams. /ppbr/ppstrongThe Role /strong /ppAs a Mechanical Solutions Engineer, you will provide technical expertise across the mechanical aspects of data centre developments, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient and aligned with customer requirements. /ppbr/ppstrongKey responsibilities include: /strong /pulliLead mechanical engineering input into data centre solutions from concept design through project delivery. /liliDevelop and review mechanical design strategies, including cooling architectures, HVAC systems and plant solutions. /liliSupport customer discussions by providing technical guidance on mechanical infrastructure requirements. /liliCollaborate with engineering consultants, contractors and internal teams to deliver effective mechanical solutions. /liliReview mechanical designs, specifications, calculations and technical documentation.



/liliSupport technical due diligence activities for new data centre developments. /liliEvaluate cooling strategies, energy efficiency opportunities and future-proofing requirements for high-density computing environments. /liliProvide technical input across chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling infrastructure, heat rejection and liquid cooling solutions. /liliSupport value engineering activities, balancing technical performance, operational requirements and commercial considerations. /liliWork with teams across EMEA to maintain consistent engineering standards. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongAbout You /strong /ppYou will be an experienced mechanical engineer with a background in strongdata centres, mission-critical infrastructure or complex industrial environments /strong. /ppbr/ppstrongYou will ideally have: /strong /pullistrongMinimum 4 years’ experience working within data centres or mission-critical environments. /strong /liliStrong mechanical engineering background with experience across HVAC and cooling systems. /liliExperience within data centre design, engineering consultancy, owner/operator or mission-critical delivery environments. /liliConsultancy design experience is highly desirable. /liliStrong understanding of chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps and associated mechanical systems.
