Head of Product Management & Application Engineering
to lead the development and execution of our product strategy across international markets.
This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute directly to the company's growth and international expansion ambitions.
Your Mission
As Head of Product Management & Application Engineering, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product portfolio strategy while leading the application engineering function to ensure technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
You will act as the bridge between market needs, commercial opportunities, R&D; capabilities, and customer applications, ensuring our solutions remain differentiated and competitive.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the global product management strategy aligned with business objectives.
Lead and develop Product Management and Application Engineering teams.
Manage the full product lifecycle, including market and funnel analysis, concept development, product launch, performance optimization, and phase-out.
Translate customer and market insights into product innovation opportunities.
Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D;, Operations, and Marketing to accelerate growth.
Support key customers and strategic projects with advanced technical expertise.
Drive new product introductions and ensure successful market adoption.
Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
Establish product roadmaps and prioritize development initiatives based on strategic business needs.
Contribute to pricing, positioning, and value proposition strategies.
Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and technical forums.
What We're Looking For
Education & Technical Expertise
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of adhesives, coatings, wood processing technologies, packaging, or related industrial applications.
Excellent knowledge of product development processes, project management and application technologies.
Experience
Significant experience in Product Management, Application Engineering, Technical Marketing, or Innovation Management, combined with proven Project Management skills in industrial B2B markets.
Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Track record of successfully launching and growing industrial products in international markets.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Green Belt or Black Belt certification is considered a plus.
Languages
Fluent English is mandatory.
Additional European languages (German, French, Italian, Dutch, etc.) are considered an advantage.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Customer-oriented mindset with strong technical credibility.
Ability to influence across functions and organizations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Results-driven with a passion for innovation.
