Are you an experienced BESS or Power Infrastructure professional looking to play a key role in delivering some of Europe's most exciting utility-scale Battery Energy Storage projects? /pp

An established renewable energy developer is looking to appoint a strongBESS Technical Construction Leader /strong to support the successful delivery of utility-scale BESS projects across the strongUK and Italy /strong, from Ready-to-Build through to commissioning, energisation and commercial operation. /pp

Working closely with the Technical Director, you'll bridge the gap between development and construction, ensuring projects are technically robust, safely delivered and handed over to operations to the highest standards. /ppbr/ppstrong

The Opportunity /strong /pp

This is a varied technical delivery role where you'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, working alongside EPC contractors, OEMs, Owner's Engineers and Grid Operators to successfully deliver utility-scale battery storage assets. /pp

You'll be responsible for reviewing technical designs, coordinating construction activities, supporting commissioning and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and in line with contractual and grid compliance requirements. /pp

Key Responsibilities /pulli

Support the delivery of utility-scale BESS projects from Ready-to-Build through construction, commissioning and commercial operation. /lili

Review technical designs including plant layouts, HV infrastructure, SCADA, control systems, fire protection and grid interfaces. /lili





Assist with EPC and OEM procurement, technical specifications and tender evaluations. /lili

Coordinate technical interfaces between developers, EPC contractors, Owner's Engineers, OEMs and project stakeholders. /lili

Monitor construction progress, quality, HSE compliance and contractor performance. /lili

Support grid compliance activities with UK and Italian network operators. /lili

Coordinate commissioning, energisation, performance testing and project acceptance. /lili

Review project schedules, technical risks, change requests and contractor deliverables. /lili

Support project handover, ensuring all commissioning documentation, OM manuals and technical records are complete. /li /ulpbr/pp

About You /ppbr/pp

We're keen to speak with experienced engineers who have been directly involved in delivering utility-scale Battery Energy Storage or comparable HV electrical infrastructure projects. /ppbr/pp

You'll ideally have experience across several of the following: /pulli

Utility-scale Battery Energy Storage (BESS) /liliHV/MV Electrical Infrastructure /lili

Grid Connections /liliEPC Project Delivery /lili

Commissioning Energisation /lili

Substations /liliSCADA Control Systems /lili

Protection Systems /lili

Construction Management /lili





Owner's Engineer or Technical Delivery /li /ulpbr/pp

Experience Required /pulli

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering, Construction Management or similar. /lili

Minimum five years' experience delivering utility-scale renewable or power infrastructure projects. /lili

Practical experience supporting projects through detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover. /lili

Strong understanding of BESS technology, PCS, transformers, HV/MV systems, protection, SCADA and grid compliance. /lili

Experience working with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams. /lili

Working knowledge of EPC contracts, warranties, technical specifications and contractor management. /lili

Experience delivering projects in either the strongUK or Italy /strong, with exposure to both considered highly advantageous. /lili

Fluent English is essential.

Italian language skills would be beneficial. /li /ulpbr/pp
