ph3RINA Junior Aerospace System Engineer /h3 pRINA is currently recruiting for a bJunior Aerospace System Engineer /b to join its office in bROME, LA SPEZIA, VENEGONO OR TURIN /b within the bOperating Engine /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe role focuses on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of flight simulation system models and advanced flight control systems. This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and safety in our aerospace technologies. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 h3Design and Development /h3 ul liAssist in the development and integration of advanced flight simulation systems and aircraft system models for pilot training and advanced design. /li liSupport the design of flight control systems, including autopilot and stability augmentation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations under the guidance of senior engineers. /li liContribute to the creation of detailed design documents, technical specifications, and system architectures. /li /ul h3Testing and Validation /h3 ul liParticipate in the rigorous testing and validation of flight simulators and control systems to ensure performance and reliability. /li liUtilize simulation software and hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing methods to validate system functionality under supervision. /li liAnalyze test data and provide initial reports and recommendations for system improvements. /li /ul h3Collaboration /h3 ul liWork collaboratively with software engineers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate flight systems and simulators with broader aerospace projects. /li liParticipate in design reviews, technical meetings,



and project planning sessions. /li liProvide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders, escalating complex issues to more experienced engineers. /li /ul h3Maintenance and Upgrades /h3 ul liPerform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates on existing models and control systems. /li liImplement minor upgrades and enhancements to improve system performance and incorporate new technologies. /li liEnsure all systems comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices. /li /ul h3Documentation and Training /h3 ul liDevelop comprehensive user manuals, technical documentation, and training materials for flight simulation systems. /li liConduct training sessions for end‑users, including pilots and maintenance personnel, on the operation and maintenance of developed flight systems. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBasic understanding of flight simulation systems and aircraft flight mechanics. /li liFamiliarity with industry standards and safety regulations. /li liExperience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, C++, or Python. /li liKnowledge of simulation software and hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing methods. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liBasic understanding of machine learning models /li liBasic knowledge of AI Python modules (TensorFlow, PyTorch)

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€30,000 and €35,000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
