Field Service Engineer – Critical Power Systems (Data Centers Industrial Power) /strongto join the team within the Service Department. /ppbr/ppstrong
Purpose: /strong /pp
The ideal candidate, reporting directly to the Regional Service Manager, will be responsible for commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response activities for diesel generator systems, electrical power systems, and associated auxiliary equipment. /pp
The successful candidate will work directly with customers operating mission-critical facilities where equipment reliability, response time, and technical excellence are essential. /ppbr/ppstrong
Key Responsibilities: /strong /ppbr/ppstrongem
Preventive Maintenance /em /strong /pulli
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on diesel generators and associated systems. /lili
Execute maintenance activities in accordance with OEM procedures and Pramac standards. /lili
Perform functional testing, operational inspections, and performance verification. /lili
Carry out load bank testing and operational validation where required. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongem
Corrective Maintenance /em /strong /pulli
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults. /lili
Restore equipment following failures and emergency breakdowns. /lili
Perform root cause investigations and recommend permanent corrective actions. /lili
Replace defective components and complete repairs in accordance with OEM specifications. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongem
Commissioning Installation /em /strong /pulli
Install and commission new generator systems. /lili
Perform factory acceptance support (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT). /lili
Configure controllers and perform functional testing. /lili
Support customer handover activities. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongem
Technical Support /em /strong /pulli
Provide on-site and remote technical support. /lili
Support customers during emergency situations. /lili
Provide technical recommendations to improve equipment reliability and availability. /lili
Escalate complex technical issues to Product Support when required. /lili
Support long-term Customer Relationship /li /ulpbr/ppstrongem
Reporting Documentation /em /strong /pulli
Complete Field service reports. /lili
Record operating parameters and maintenance history. /lili
Prepare technical reports including Root Cause Analysis (RCA). /lili
Document recommendations for lifecycle improvements. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppstrong
Education Requirements: /strong /pulli
Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering /lili
Italian – Fluent /lili
English – Professional working knowledge (additional European languages are an advantage) /lili
Availability to travel throughout Italy and Europe /lili
Availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to emergency call-outs. /li /ulpbr/ppstrong
Experience Technical Competencies /strong: /pullistrong+ 3 years of experience /strongin Diesel Generator Systems, Power Generation, Critical Power, UPS Systems, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Distribution, Data Center Infrastructure, Commissioning, or Field Service. /lili
Experience within Mission-Critical Facilities is considered a strong advantage. /lili
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, generator controllers (Com
Ap, Deep Sea Electronics, Woodward, etc.), ATS, synchronizing systems, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, technical drawings, PLC fundamentals, and battery, cooling, and fuel systems. /lili
Additional experience with load bank testing, thermographic inspections, vibration analysis, battery testing, fuel polishing, remote monitoring platforms, and power quality analysis is an asset. /li /ulpbr/ppstrong
