Marketing Project Manager – Events & Client Activation

Location: Milan, Italy (Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

Contract Duration: September 2026 – December 2026, with potential extension of up to 2 months

Daily Rate: Up to €250/day (depending on experience and skills)

Interview Process: 1 interview with consulting partner + 1 interview with end client

Overview

Our client, a leading international organisation, is looking for a Marketing Project Manager with 4-5 years of experience to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on events management and client activation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end delivery of marketing projects.
- Plan and execute large-scale events, coordinating agencies, suppliers, logistics, and stakeholders.
- Support customer engagement and client activation initiatives.
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.




- Prepare project updates and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4-5 years of Project Management experience.
- Proven background delivering marketing projects and events.
- Experience in client activation, customer engagement, loyalty, or related marketing initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Italian and English.

Desirable

- Experience within the payments industry.
- Understanding of the payments ecosystem, market dynamics, and customer engagement models. xlwpduy
